The unique YotaPhone, which has dual-displays has undergone yet another price
cut in the Indian market. After this cut, the device is priced at Rs.8,999. The
smartphone was first launched in the month of October in 2014 at a price of Rs
23,499.
After this, it had received a price cut and was available for Rs
17,999. Following another cut, the smartphone was selling for Rs.12,999. Which
means the price of the phone has dropped by Rs.14,500 ever since its launch on
Flipkart.
Its successor, the YotaPhone 2 is already available in a number of
countries in Europe, the middle east, and the CIS. Although any news of a
launch in India is not yet known.
The YotaPhone sports a 4.3-inch LCD main display, a 4.3 inch EPD rear
screen, and run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a 1.7GHz
dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and comes with 2GB RAM, as well as 32GB
internal memory. Other features include a 13MP rear camera with LED flash,
1080p full HD video recording, 1 MP front camera, and an 1800mAh battery.
