Founder and CEO of internet video site Leshi TV (LeTV), Jia
Yueting has compared tech giant Apple with Hitler.
Yueting, who is a billionaire, has equated Apple to Hitler
at the launch of LeTV's new smartphone on his Weibo account with an image.
At the event, he has posted an image that equates Apple with
Hitler- the image shows a cartoon of Adolf Hitler who is seen wearing an
armband commonly worn by Nazis. However, the Nazi's symbol has been replaced by
the Apple logo.
Mashable suggested it like this: "The Hitler-esque
character is standing in front of yellow caution tape, opposite a group of
smiling kids on a backdrop of sunshine and wind turbines, who are meant to
represent the Android OS".
The image also has some text in Chinese which reportedly
reads, "Freedom vs. Arrogance" and is followed by some more text that
says, "How can we change so that we can improve the industry?"
LeTV's upcoming smartphone will run Android and may come
with 4GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch display, and a reversible USB Type-C port.
